Looking for fellow soapmakers

I'm a retired chemist & my wife & I have been making soap to give away at medical mission trips in Panama the past 2 years.  We are now just beginning to work with a Christian school in the Dominican Republic with folks there who are interested in making soap.  We are very interested in learning about local soapmaking materials in these countries and exchanging soapmaking ideas with fellow soapmakers in the DR and/or Panama or with anyone interested in collaborating with these efforts.
